Potter

I have become a Harry Potter Geek!

I am currently on book number seven, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows.

I know it is a little late to be jumping on the Harry Potter wagon, but I am glad I did. These books are great.

I read book one, Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone when it first came out and thought it was pretty good, nice kids book. It wasn’t until recently that Big D decided he was going to read the series. Big D told me how great the Harry Potter books were so I decided to read them too.

I can’t put these books down!

I am off to see what is going to happen next to Harry and his friends

Ooooh, I am totally with you on Harry! I like children's books generally, but I absolutely adore the Harry Potter books. The last one is really good, the ending is absolutely perfect. Enjoy!

I don't know if they would be to your tastes, but I also really enjoyed the Series of Unfortunate Events books (they are dark, but the writing style is very entertaining).

I have loves the HP since the beginning but I must say I had to read Deathly Hallows several times before I actually caught all of the goings on. Then , when i returned several months later and re-read it, it had even more than I had even remembered from the second reading.

I love the movies but have not read any of the books. I know I should.

I always try to read most of hte books my children are reading. Not only can I then know that they are books that will not slaughter their innocence we are able to enjoy discussing them as comparing favourite scenes and characters.

It is also a GREAT excuse to read, read, read when sometimes I know I should be doing something else.

Thanks for dropping by and wishing me well, I am slowly on the mend. I can not announce on my blog because of extended family members who would give my father great grief if they knew I was expecting but in addition to being so ill - I am pregnant. So this is a double whammy. I am four months now, so please feel free to keep this in your prayers.
Blessings
