Are the Jonas Brothers Really That Cool?

Little Miss loves the Jonas Brothers. As do millions of other girls her age. Every time Miss likes a celebrity I am always on edge wondering if that celebrity will stay on a good path and at least try to be a good role model to the millions of kids who look up to them.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this article on Style.com, which portrays the Jonas Brothers to be a close family among themselves and their parents. The brothers also wear purity rings and are quite proud of it.

The Jonas Brothers get a thumbs up from me and I hope they continue to use their success and fame to be good role models for our children.

Thanks for the link. My daughter, too, is crazy about the Jonas Bros. Even my 11 year old son, after listening to my daughter play and replay Jonas Bros. videos on youtube commented, "The Jonas Brothers actually have pretty good voices." This from the boy who shuns pop music for classical.

It would be nice if they can stay on the straight and narrow. They're so young, and there's so much pressure. It becomes tiresome (and yet understandable) to see adolescent star after adolescent star succumb to not only the normal temptations of adolescence, but also the increased temptations that come with so much money and fame so quickly.

My 8 year old son loves the Jonas Brother's. They are very talented and I think have the potential to be around a long time. I just hope they stay good role models and don't stray from the path like many that have gone before them.
