I checked out your husbands blog. I liked his blog about the Harry Potter series.
I have not let my son read them yet. I am troubled by the occult. I am troubled when I see the newspaper and a new book of hers comes out and all these little girls are dressed as witches with wands. I have heard about parties where they practice spells.
When my children get older....like 15 then I will. But not when they are little. I also educate them to the core that anything with the occult is off limits. To run from it.
I will stop. Your husband will be like.....hey that is my comment:)
Best of luck to your husband with his new blog. My husband tried to start a blog, and only got a few posts in before he abandoned it. But, looks your hubby is already up to a great start!
Christine, I actually updated my post on Harry Potter slightly in reaction to your comment.
I don't want to give people the impression that the occult doesn't bother me. It does! I just don't see it in the Harry Potter series. But as I just updated my post to read, I do respect that some people could make an occult connection with the books and be scandalized by it. I don't want that to happen based on my recommendation.
